Clubs and Organizations

Students have the opportunity to join many clubs and organizations at Inman Elementary School. Specific club offerings are based on the number of interested students and the availability of staff advisors.

Club Descriptions

ETV Broadcast
Open to all 5th graders, ETV develops public speaking, communication, and technology skills. Students create a daily live broadcast for staff and students. Applications are completed at the end of 4th grade, with notifications sent during the first week of 5th grade.

Science Olympiad
Encourages a passion for science through hands-on activities and friendly competition across a variety of science-related events.

Running Club
Promotes physical fitness as students run or walk laps around the track and earn certificates for accumulated laps.

Chorus
Available to 4th and 5th graders through an audition process. Students practice weekly and perform in at least two school events each year.

Good News Club
An after-school program open to all 1st–5th graders. The club focuses on character development, respect for authority, and positive values.

Chess Club
Provides a welcoming environment for 4th and 5th graders of all skill levels to learn and enjoy chess while building strategic thinking and patience.

Safety Patrol
Responsible 4th and 5th grade students assist with morning arrival and afternoon dismissal while modeling leadership and responsibility.

L.A.R.K. (Little Acts of Random Kindness)
Students participate in small acts of kindness within the school and community. Meeting dates and sign-up information are shared by sponsors.

Spanish Club
Students explore Spanish language and culture through songs, games, art, and conversation. Meets Mondays from January–May.

Step Team – The Soaring Steppers
A performance group focused on rhythm, movement, and teamwork through stepping routines. Tryouts required.

Typing Club
Builds typing fluency and accuracy using Keyboarding Without Tears during morning sessions.

Additional clubs may be offered based on student interest and staff availability.
